“A masterfully executed techno record...Dixon will definitely be dominating dancefloors with this album.” 4/5 stars
Jonty Czuchwicki | The Music
“Elisabeth Dixon makes music that stays with you. Layer-upon-layer of meditative drone and industrial beats that leave you in a lingering, trance-like state.“
Jessica Willoughby | Life Is Noise
“Elisabeth Dixon has produced a debut LP that is intelligently structured, incorporating expected and unexpected sounds that fit well within techno as a genre. Each individual track inherits an exciting atmosphere, flowing freely throughout as a whole.”
Blake Creighton | Ripe
“Her fondness for drone and ambient music is evident … Muffled dub-bass stabs echo through reverb’d percussion, creating a perfect atmosphere of noise, until a steady and subtle 4×4 kick punches through … [leaving] you very excited for what’s to come”
Henry Rowe | Bunker Music
“[drawing] equally on techno and the electronic/industrial...she creates cuts that are long, layered and make for a dancefloor experience that is at once shadowy and pummelling. Without being exactly like Laurel Halo or Pharmakon, it's things like this that pressage a talent as distinctively exciting. LP1 is a precocious and promising debut.”
